Giuliano Martins

Throughout this year, the Event team have hosted a series focusing on practical topics and valuable insights.

In April, we kicked off with “Starting Your Project Management Career in Canada,” presented by Rogerio Manso, who guided participants through strategies for securing a job in the competitive Canadian market, covering certifications and ways to increase visibility.

In July, Abrahim Elias Farah Neto brought us "Managing Diverse Teams," where we explored the challenges and opportunities of working with multicultural teams. This event highlighted the importance of effective communication and adaptable leadership.

The following month, Celso Sawaia presented "Supercharge Your Company’s Innovation Engine," emphasizing how PMOs and Enterprise Architecture can drive strategic innovation within organizations.

Recently, in September, Fernanda Alves led a crucial session for those interested in continuous improvement: "Unveiling Lean Six Sigma," where she explored the powerful DMAIC framework and the different certification paths available. In addition to these knowledge-driven sessions, we also held several in-person networking events that promoted integration and experience-sharing among group members. Looking ahead, we have two unmissable events in the coming months. On October 8th, Rogerio Manso will return to talk about "How to Work as an Independent Consultant in PM." And on November 14th, Claudio Guimarães will discuss "Canada’s Macro-Economic Outlook," sharing perspectives for the upcoming years. The Event team is always working to promote valuable events to TNPM community and the agenda for 2025 is already being worked on to bring in excellent speakers to share experiences and important information for the career of project managers.
